We will meet at 2pm at the packing location in Wimberley emailed to you closer to the event date. All the food supplies will be on tables and we will help package and prepare boxes with breakfast and lunch supplies. We should be able to finish the boxes within an hour or so.

In order to make sure each family gets fresh fruit, Crisis Bread Basket drops off fruit and sandwich bread each week after boxes are packed and before drivers arrive. Each week you'll arrive a little earlier to to the pickup location (address emailed to you closer to the pickup date) to help sort the fruit and bread into grocery bags that then go out with each box to families. This does not require a lot of manual labor and would be a great opportunity to serve alongside kids, if you wanted to bring them. Afterwards, you'll help the drivers position the boxes as they arrive and ensure all the routes are picked up. (in the rare event a driver can't make it last minute, the Fruit + Box Organizer is the first ask to serve as an alternate and deliver the box)

Each week you will receive a list of the addresses you'll deliver to. We will meet at 10:30am for a quick drive-thru pickup, and then you'll be on your way! (address will be sent to you closer to the service date) Each route typically takes an hour or so in total. It'd be best to sign up as a pair either with a family member or friend so one can help navigate the GPS in addition to someone driving. All drivers must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
